8th Air Force Bomb Comp

FAIRCHILD AIR FORCE BASE, Wash - The 306th Bomb Wing brought their B-52 Stratofortress crews to the 14th Bombing and Navigation Competition held at Fairchild AFB, Wash., in 1965. This competition had a modified format with one crew and aircraft from each of the 44 participating wings (two B-58s, five B-47s and 37 B-52s). This is the last year the B-47s participated.
