JFCC-GS inactivation ceremony

U.S. Air Force Maj. Gen. Thomas A Bussiere, outgoing commander of Joint Functional Component Command for Global Strike (JFCC GS), and U.S. Army Command Sgt. Maj. Nathaniel Jett, JFCC GS senior enlisted leader, furl and case the JFCC GS flag, marking the command’s inactivation at the Patriot Club on Offutt Air Force Base, Neb., Oct. 2, 2017. U.S. Strategic Command inactivated JFCC GS as part of the command’s restructure of its components to build a coherent and streamlined warfighting structure. The restructure will enhance integration throughout the deterrence enterprise and more closely match the organizational structure of other warfighting commands.
