Dyess AFB will host the Dyess Women’s Summit open house for anyone with base access, April 29, 2022. This event is in conjunction with the 80th Women Air Force Service Pilot Homecoming event in Sweetwater, Texas, April 30, 2022.

The Dyess Women’s Summit will honor military women past, present, and future with distinguished visitors including guest speaker Erin Miller, granddaughter of WASP pilot Elaine Danforth Harmon. The celebration will also feature WWII  portrait displays, static aircraft displays from across the U.S. Air Force, and mentorship sessions for ROTC, JROTC, and local youth.

This event will inform community members, students, and aircraft enthusiasts of West Texas by honoring the legacy of the Air Force’s first female pilots and women in uniform from right here at America’s Lift and Strike base.
