Barksdale 9/11 Reveille and Wreath Laying Ceremony

BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. – Brig. Gens. Keith Kries, mobilization assistant to the Eighth Air Force commander, and John Mooney III, 307th Bomb Wing commander, walk to place a memorial wreath at the base of the 2nd Bomb Wing Headquarters flag pole during a 9/11 Reveille and Wreath Laying Ceremony on Barksdale Air Force Base Sept. 9, 2011. The ceremony included a moment of silence, which allowed Barksdale Airmen to reflect upon the tragic losses of Sept. 11, 2001, as well as the service and sacrifices made combating terrorism since that fateful day.
