BARKSDALE AIR FORCE BASE, La. - Members of the 2nd Munitions Squadron Global Strike Challenge munitions team perform a fusing operation on a Mark-82 bomb on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Aug. 11 in preparation for the upcoming Air Force Global Strike Challenge competition. The munitions portion of the competition requires the teams to demonstrate their ability to quickly build munitions, as well as, construct a munitions assembly conveyor, expertly drive heavy equipment and ace a knowledge-based exam.
