Eighth Air Force Top 3 Providence House 7/20/11

SHREVEPORT, La. – Fourteen members of the Eighth Air Force volunteered their time to help the Providence House in downtown Shreveport, La., July 20. The members were from the Headquarters Eighth Air Force staff and 608th Air Operations Center. The Airmen built new shelves for the daycare and moved furniture in the warehouse. The Providence House is a residential development center for homeless families with children, providing comprehensive support services for improving the family structure and moving the family into independent living.
