Eighth Air Force Top 3 help spread holiday cheer
SHREVEPORT, La. – Members of the Eighth Air Force Top 3 help wrap presents, build bikes, and place presents in bags at the Providence House warehouse in Shreveport Dec. 17. The presents will be delivered during Christmas week to more than 150 families enrolled in the “Adopt-a-Family” program. This is the nineteenth year of the program at the Providence House. Providence House helps local homeless families overcome their crises and return to self-sufficiency by providing short-term transitional housing in combination with an individualized support program including parenting, money management and life skills development.
