Commander's Quarters Dedication Ceremony
U.S. Air Force Lieutenant General Robert J. Elder, Headquarters Eighth Air Force commander, and the grandson of Major General Gerald Clark Brant unveil a painting of the Commander's Quarters on Barksdale Air Force Base, La., Nov. 9. The unveiling was part of a ceremony in which the house was dedicated to it's first occupant General Brant, an early Army Air Corps leader. The house will hereby be called the Brant House.
