Earth Shattering Experience

Maj. Gen. Floyd Carpenter, Eighth Air Force (Air Forces Strategic) vice commander, learns how to pulverize and tear up concrete in an excavator from Airman 1st Class Brandon Lynch, 819th RED HORSE Squadron, during a ground breaking ceremony at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Mont., Aug. 14. The 819th RHS is tearing up a 20,000 square foot area to build a unit assembly area; a $678,000 construction project slated to be completed by March 2009 and built entirely by the squadron. Lt. Gen.
