28th BW adopts Toby Jug, accepts new mission
The 28th Bomb Wing Toby jug, a replica of the jug seen in the movie Twelve O’Clock High, faces the crowd after being turned for the first time during the B-1 realignment ceremony at Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., Sept. 28, 2015. The “turning of the Toby” symbolizes Ellsworth accepting the heritage of today’s Eighth Air Force, and the upcoming mission of re-invigorating the Air Force’s bomber community.
