Veterans, Airmen celebrate 75 years of 8 AF heritage
Eighth Air Force Airmen and family members participate in the Mighty Eighth Heritage 8K at Barksdale Air Force base, La., April 26, 2017. The event was held to honor and celebrate Eighth Air Force veterans, and allowed current day Airmen to interact with and hear experiences from members of the Eighth Air Force who served during times such as WWII, the Cold War, Vietnam, Operation Secret Squirrel, and Operation Linebacker II. The run served as one of the many events held in commemoration of the Eighth Air Force’s 75th anniversary. (U.S. Air Force photo by Staff Sgt. Joseph A. Pagán Jr.)
