Ellsworth Airmen support bomber mission in European theatre
Airmen from the 28th Bomb Wing depart from Ellsworth Air Force Base, S.D., to Royal Air Force Fairford, United Kingdom, in support of multiple joint, multinational exercises June 3, 2017. This deployment to the U.K. helps exercise RAF Fairford as the U.S. Air Forces in Europe-Air Forces Africa’s forward operating bomber location, while providing important integration and interaction with NATO allies and partner nations.
