8th Air Force Spouses' Orientation
                Senior Airman Melissa Carlier, a member of the 608th Air Operations Center ISR division, describes her unit's mission and role within bomber operations during a spouses' orientation at headquarters 8th Air Force, Barksdale AFB, La., Nov. 18, 2019. More than 30 military spouses received an immersion briefing, toured the different centers and met with local leadership. “The commitment and sacrifice it takes to be a military spouse is an honorable quality," said Chief Master Sgt. Melvina Smith, 8th Air Force command chief and J-GSOC senior enlisted leader. "They provide an incomparable level of support, which ultimately affects unit readiness, personal resilience and quality of life.”
