B-1s border the Arctic for Baked Alaskan; enhance ACE practices
A B-1B Lancer assigned to the 7th Bomb Wing at Dyess Air Force Base, Texas, sits on the flightline at Eielson AFB, Alaska, during the Baked Alaskan exercise, Sept. 9, 2022. One of the key objectives of this mission was to operationalize the Agile Combat Employment concept by sending Dyess Airmen to a different region. It also employed Multi Capable Airman construct, where Airmen were tasked with fulfilling multiple duties outside of their traditional Air Force Specialty Code on the flightline.
